Rooms built around
the art you live with

Halcyon Interiors is an interior designer in Antwerp. After ten years at Ashmore House in London and Trieste she opened her studio in 2016 and moved it to the old quarter in 2022. She plans apartments and houses from the first wall to the last picture hook, on the the north bank, in the river district and in Trieste.

The studio

Ten years of looking at art, then rooms planned so the art has somewhere to live.

I worked at Ashmore House in London and Trieste before I trained as an interior designer. Since 2016 I have planned sixty rooms the way I once looked at a picture: from the wall out.

Full service interior design for apartments and houses in Antwerp, Flanders and Israel.

From the first plan to the day the art goes up.

Planning and renovation
Space planning, moving walls, storage planned into every plan, working drawings, contractor tenders and site visits through to installation. Gut renovations in the old quarter co-ops and new construction in the river district.
Millwork, materials and light
Carpentry drawings for every built-in, material and finish selection, lighting plans and the details that clients never notice until they live with them.
Furniture and art
Furnishing, styling and shopping days, and the placement, hanging and lighting of a collection, planned with the sight lines of each room.

A client, in print

«The renovation was not at all the stressful experience we had been warned about, and in our opinion that is mostly thanks to Halcyon, who managed the process with very little involvement from us while taking care of details we would never have noticed.»
